How to Use Apple Notes to Have Private Conversations with Others

 When you want to keep a discussion private from others, Apple's Notes app may not be the first solution that comes to mind. However, you may remove any record of your communication by utilizing its collaboration tools to invite people into a "conversation" and then deleting the messages after you're through.

It's not as secure as utilizing an encrypted messaging service with vanishing messages, and photos of shared notes or copying talks to another app are fairly straightforward, but the Notes app provides a fast and easy choice for secret texting in a rush.

Use Your Notes App for Chats

To begin, open Notes and make a new note. Fill up the message with anything you like, then hit the three-dots symbol in the top-right corner of the page and choose Share note. You may now prevent sharing by tapping Share settings. People may be added by anybody. Make sure Can make modifications is selected under Permission.

Return to the previous page and choose how you want to share the letter with others. They will be able to access your message as long as they have an Apple ID. To send the note, we used iMessage. Once the other person has joined, you may begin entering a message, which they will be able to view almost in realtime.

Tap the three-dots symbol in the top-right corner and choose Manage Shared Note to easily distinguish between your messages and those of your contact. Return to your note and choose Highlight All Changes. The mobile transferred Notes responses will be highlighted in a different color when they respond to your message.

When you're through with the chat, first remove anything you've written. Then, in the top-right corner, hit the three-dots symbol, go to Share Options, and change the document permission to View only.

Return to the previous page, swipe left on your contact's name, and pick Remove. This will prevent them from further accessing the note. You may now remove the note from Apple Notes, erasing all evidence of your chat.
